The credit of Yeleswaram Parish goes to the late Fr. P Cahrles who brought the Yeleswaram and Marrividu missions to the light of faith. He was visiting these places from Gollaprolu where he was the parish priest. For sometime Yeleswaram Mission was looked after from Godavari Parish by Fr. Paul Iramana and Fr. Anthony Parayil. Afterwards it was looked after from Prathipadu. Yeleswaram was erected as a parish in 1987.
